Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders in home or clinical settings Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health interventions in a compassionate manner Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Prior experience in special education or behavioral therapy is highly preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in growth within the field Join us in empowering individuals to reach their full potential!
