Responsibilities Deliver direct behavioral therapy services to clients, focusing on skill development and behavior management strategies aligned with individualized care plans. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional skills. Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of licensed behavior analysts, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices. Support clients during sessions by teaching new skills, reinforcing positive behaviors, and managing challenging behaviors effectively. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to update on client progress and address concerns professionally. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly preferred. Hands-on experience in special education settings or home-based behavioral programs is advantageous. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing treatment plans is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards will support effective client care. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and utilize it to guide intervention strategies. Experience working within ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts ensures responsible practice. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement are vital for success in this role.
