Job Description

Links ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in Avenel. In this part-time role, you'll implement individualized treatment plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and collect accurate behavior data under BCBA supervision. You'll work in a collaborative, child-centered environment, partner closely with families, and participate in ongoing training and supervision. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your clinical skills in ABA. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home or clinic settings Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision Collect and record accurate behavior and skill acquisition data Follow treatment protocols to teach communication, social, and daily living skills Support families with carryover strategies and progress updates Maintain client safety and reinforce positive behaviors consistently Collaborate with clinical team in meetings and supervision sessions Attend required trainings and participate in ongoing professional development Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Behavior data collection and documentation Behavior intervention plan implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Crisis prevention and de-escalation basics Electronic health record or data collection systems Professional communication with families and clinicians Time management in session-based work Basic child development knowledge
