Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Behavioral Services team and provide direct behavioral support to individuals living in our residential group homes. Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician will provide direct behavioral services under the supervision and direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will implement individualized behavior support plans, collect and document behavioral data, teach replacement skills, and work closely with residential staff to promote consistency and successful implementation of behavioral strategies. This position requires the ability to travel between multiple residential group homes based on the needs of the individuals receiving services. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and passionate about supporting individuals with I/DD. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to individuals in residential group home settings. Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans and treatment programs as directed by the BCBA. Teach and reinforce appropriate replacement behaviors and functional skills. Follow behavior intervention procedures consistently and safely. Support individuals in developing communication, social, adaptive, daily living, and other functional skills. Assist with identifying and responding appropriately to behavioral concerns in accordance with the individual's behavior plan. Collaborate with residential Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), supervisors, BCBAs, and other members of the individual's care team. Provide modeling, coaching, and support to residential staff regarding implementation of behavioral strategies as directed by the BCBA. Complete accurate and timely documentation, including session notes and data collection. Travel between assigned residential locations as needed to provide services and clinical support.
Qualifications and Requirments:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with BCBAs, residential staff, families, and other professionals.. Ability and willingness to travel between multiple residential group home locations. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between work locations.
