Educational Assistants and Registered Behavior Technicians are sought for a contract role serving students whose behavioral needs require a more individualized environment. What youll bring:

Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or paraprofessional experience preferred Experience working with students who exhibit behavioral or social-emotional needs Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and empathy Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and related service providers Flexibility, patience, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners Your responsibilities will include: Providing direct support to students in a social/emotional classroom with a low student-to-staff ratio (usually 34 students per class with a teacher and another EA) Implementing strategies and interventions designed to foster social, emotional, and academic growth Supporting classroom routines, collecting data on behaviors and interventions, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment Collaborating daily with teachers and specialists to adapt program plans and ensure each students needs are met Assisting with daily activities, de-escalation techniques, and positive behavior supports This position offers a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week with a contract running ASAP through the end of May.
