Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a vibrant K-12 educational setting near Bernalillo, NM. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support students and educators for the remainder of the school year, with an ASAP start. Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification required Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Strong understanding of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to ethical professional practice and confidentiality
Core Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor BIPs tailored to individual student needs Conduct comprehensive FBAs in collaboration with staff and families Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise related to student behavior plans and data collection Train and support school staff on behavior management strategies Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all interventions meet best practice standards Offer ongoing support and adjustment of plans based on student progress Experience an engaging and supportive environment within a dedicated educational community.
