MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A

master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology or a closely related field

2. Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a

BCBA OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

To promote ethical and effective behavior interventions and the student's participation in everyday routines and activities that are a part of his or her program.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow local, state, and federal law and adhere to Public Education Department and Local School Board Policy.

2. Maintain confidentiality of student information.

3. Perform appropriate evaluations of children referred for challenging behaviors.

4. Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs to meet individual student's needs

5. Provide individual and/or group therapy to students.

6. Serve as a resource to school staff members in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral supports.

7. Follow all Technical Evaluation and Assessment Manual (TEAM) guidelines and

8. Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.

REPORTS TO

Principal and Special Services Administrators

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Work year will be in accordance with current schedule for 191-day employee. Work day is an eight-hour day. Salary to be determined by individual training and experience level on current Certified Support Staff Salary Schedule.

EVALUATION

Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education's policy on evaluation of certified personnel.
