Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / ABA Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), providing direct support to clients in home, school, or community settings. Duties Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional skills. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in various environments, including home-based settings, schools, or community programs, ensuring consistency across contexts. Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care delivery. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding all medical records and documentation. Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts, and implementing ABA therapy protocols effectively. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies with patience and professionalism. Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance related to client care records. Experience working in school settings or home-based behavioral programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
