$24-$30+ per hour based on experience, certification, and qualifications About Victory Lap ABA Victory Lap ABA is a clinician-owned Applied Behavior Analysis practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized, in-home therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Position Overview Victory Lap ABA is seeking motivated, compassionate, and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians to provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, in home and community-based settings. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT will implement individualized care plans, collect data to monitor progress, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive behavior change and skill development. Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home and/or community settings. Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment plans. Support clients during teaching sessions using reinforcement strategies to promote skill acquisition across areas such as communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Help maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to review client progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that emphasizes respect, patience, and understanding while working professionally with children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in home settings
Preferred:
Active RBT Certification Previous ABA/behavioral health/childcare experience Bachelor's degree or coursework in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is highly desirable. Familiarity with documentation practices and HIPAA compliance ensures accurate record-keeping and confidentiality. Strong teaching skills combined with patience and empathy are essential for supporting clients' growth and learning. Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in educational or healthcare settings is a plus. A background in special education or behavioral health enhances your ability to contribute effectively within our team environment.
