Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Therapist, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to support clients' developmental goals Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and communication skills Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and caregivers to develop and update individualized care plans Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent therapeutic approaches Participate in ongoing training on ethical standards, professional conduct, and the latest ABA methodologies Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health needs in various environments such as homes or schools Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress accurately Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards Experience working within special education settings or home-based behavioral programs is highly preferred Understanding of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is essential Excellent client communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and professionalism Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of all client information Join us in making a meaningful difference!
