Part-time Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Special Education Behavior Technician to provide in-home and community-based ABA services to a 12-year-old male in Merrick, New York. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement an individualized treatment plan, collect behavioral data, complete session notes, and help the student strengthen communication, social, adaptive, and independent-living skills. Responsibilities Provide one-to-one ABA therapy Follow individualized behavior and skill-development plans Collect and document session data Complete timely and accurate session notes Communicate professionally with caregivers and supervisors Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children preferred Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred RBT certification or related coursework is a plus Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation Ability to satisfy applicable New York background-check requirements Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule Why Join ABS?
