Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician (BT/) and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support! In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, ensuring consistency and fidelity to treatment plans Support clients during therapy sessions, providing direct behavioral therapy tailored to individual needs Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure cohesive care plans Support clients with school-based or home-based interventions, fostering skill development across environments Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient care standards Ability to assist with medical documentation and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines for behavior analysts Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism Familiarity with special education settings or home-based behavioral support services is a plus Demonstrated ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively in various settings Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication fuels growth and positive change.
