Job Description

The Mount Pleasant Cottage School is hiring dedicated Behavior Modification Aides to provide evidence-based behavioral support in our special education/ABA classrooms. This role is ideal for experienced Behavior Modification Aides ready to advance their career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Working in small, supportive classroom settings, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direct guidance of a special education teacher and a BCBA, helping students with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to behavioral intervention, data collection and reporting, classroom & instructional support, and assessment support. RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is required. This position is based in special education classrooms with 6:1:1 or 8:1:1 student-to-staff ratios. Staff should expect prolonged standing and walking throughout the school day, possible exposure to challenging behaviors including aggression and self-injury, and close collaboration with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families. Strict confidentiality and documentation standards apply. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to foster positive change through engaging educational support!
Pay:
$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 29.6 per week
