Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your focus will be on promoting positive behavior change, enhancing daily living skills, and supporting clients' overall growth within a compassionate and structured environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks Support the development and execution of individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to ensure consistency in therapy delivery Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages learning, independence, and emotional well-being Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior management strategies Experience assisting with ADLs or teaching life skills in a special education setting is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards Strong organizational skills for managing medical records, care plans, and documentation accurately Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting individuals with autism or other developmental challenges Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
