Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral challenges. This role is essential in providing support and education to both clients and their families, helping them navigate daily activities and improve overall quality of life. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA, focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques to reinforce positive behaviors. Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy. Qualifications Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to educate clients and families on behavior management strategies. A background in special education or behavioral health is preferred but not required. Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
