Yonkers, NY Job Details Part-time $23 - $29 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Experience working with children Health information management Autism spectrum disorders support Full Job Description Overview Join TRAC Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) , where you will provide 1:1 ABA support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will help clients build meaningful communication, social, and daily living skills while implementing individualized behavior support plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our RBTs receive ongoing BCBA supervision, guidance, and collaboration to ensure they feel supported while providing high-quality care. We value teamwork, compassion, and creating an environment where both our clients and team members can grow. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and confidence. Collect accurate data on client behaviors and skill acquisition to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies to promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans and behavior management strategies. Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning, independence, and trust. Qualifications An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children is preferred Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Passionate about working with individuals with developmental disabilities and committed to promoting their well-being through patient care and teaching. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining flexibility to adapt to individual needs. Maintain accurate session documentation while protecting client confidentiality.

$23.00 - $29.00 per hour
