Job Description
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)About FriendshipABA FriendshipABA provides individualized ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. As part of Friendship Circle of Cleveland, we help children strengthen communication, social, play, daily living, and participation skills in a warm, relationship-centered environment. Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable RBTs to provide one-to-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with children, values teamwork, and wants to grow within a supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA programs developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills Build positive relationships with clients through play and meaningful engagement Collect accurate data and complete timely session notes using Motivity Follow behavior-support, safety, and treatment protocols Communicate professionally with caregivers and the clinical team Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries Qualifications Active RBT certification in good standing High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities Patience, warmth, reliability, and strong communication skills Ability to follow clinical protocols and respond positively to feedback Ability to pass required background checks Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Previous ABA experience and coursework in psychology, education, special education, or a related field are preferred.
