Full Job Description Overview:
Achieve Together Behavior Services would love for you to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (experience preferred, but not required)! Here's a few reasons why you should join our team: Our annual turnover rate is 6% for our RBTs and 3.5% for BCBAs. The National average in 2022 for RBTs was 65% with some more recent surveys indicating a 25-30% turnover rate making us a cut above the rest. RBTs are considered a critical part of the care team. You can expect collaboration (supervision) with BCBAs at 10% each week . RBTs are given time at the end of the day to complete SOAP notes and 10 hours (20 during high cancellation months) to supplement their hours if they need to when clients cancel. We offer paid training AND reimbursement of all certification, testing and onboarding (fingerprinting and CPR) fees. Annual re-certification fees are reimbursed as well. ATBS is committed to fighting burnout. We are open 8am-4pm to support a better work-life balance for our staff. Balanced staff caseloads of 4-6 kids helps to decrease the chance of burnout. Paid and thorough hands on training by a BCBA and/or Lead Tech on all new clients is required and maintained. Lead Techs are available to support during high escalations or when additional support is needed. We are an empathetic work environment. Each week we send out a newsletter so you always know what's going on in the company and what to expect the next week. Supportive BCBAs and teammates are always willing to jump in and support as needed. We have a program for paid experience for Supervisees in search of meeting the BACB requirements to sit for the BCBA Exam. RBT Job Description Work with children and teens on the autism spectrum. Teach new skills and work with their families to bring fulfilling changes to their lives. Work one on one or in a small group setting in a clinic or family's home. Implement and accurately follow treatment plans to increase language, social, play/leisure, life and academic skills. Collaborate with your supervisors and coworkers on a daily basis to provide exceptional care and services to clients. Communicate with families, co-workers and admin in a kind, supportive way. Handle stressful situations in a calm and positive manner.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children Collect data on client behavior during sessions Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Provide trauma informed and neurodiversity affirming ABA therapy Follow detailed instructions Behave in a professional manner Willing to get a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate within 30 days (paid by the employer) Must have a strong desire to learn and implement ABA well to increase social, language, academic, and play skills in children and teens on the autism spectrum. Willing to collaborate with the entire team Must be able to pass a background (BCI and FBI) check
Skills:
