Immediate Student Openings 1. Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 8:45am - 12:15pm 2. Tuesday & Thursday afternoons from 12:45pm - 4:15pm Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record accurate data on behavior patterns, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment plans. Support teaching sessions by reinforcing skills across communication, socialization, academic, and life skills domains. Collaborate with supervisors and therapists to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning and emotional well-being for children with autism. Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies to enhance your skills. Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in care and support. Skills Proficient in data collection methods and documentation practices. Knowledgeable in special education principles and practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality. Experience in developing and implementing care plans for individuals with autism. Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills for educating clients and caregivers effectively. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
