Job Description

Description:
The Behavioral Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs. The BCBA trains and supervises staff in behavior intervention strategies and data collection procedures to ensure the fidelity and effectiveness of applied behavior analysis (ABA) practices.

Implements and monitors individualized skill acquisition programs based on the principals of ABA Collects and analyzes behavioral data Supports staff to implement designed interventions with fidelity including: direct observation, modeling, and coaching Participates in the development of IEPs and attend IEP meetings as needed to provide behavioral data and recommendations Maintains appropriate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Maintains effective and cooperative relationships with students, administrators, parents, other employees, and the general public
