Duties:
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with special needs
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions regarding treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and consistent implementation of interventions
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education
Skills:
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling
