Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Provide dedicated 1:1 support for an 8th grade student with autism in a school setting, utilizing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) skills to foster communication and positive behaviors. This contract position requires a reliable full-time commitment from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Piqua, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral support to an 8th grade student diagnosed with autism Implement and assist with communication strategies using Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Monitor and document student progress and behavioral data accurately and consistently Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to support individualized education plan (IEP) goals Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging environment that promotes the student's development
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with students with autism in a school setting Knowledge of PECS and other communication methods Strong observational and data collection skills Ability to start the full-time shift promptly at 7:00 AM Compassionate, patient, and attentive approach to student care
