Job Description
Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM! In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior, and enhance their quality of life. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients' developmental goals Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and dressing, fostering independence and confidence Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with their care plans Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to manage behaviors and promote positive outcomes Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates, support, and guidance on behavior management strategies Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation in medical records Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and behavioral health practices Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies in home or school settings Ability to collect detailed behavioral data accurately and efficiently during sessions Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical records Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate care and professional ethics This part-time role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in behavioral health while making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
