Job Description Overview:
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) at IMPACT plays a vital role in supporting the progress of clients, mentoring direct reports, and collaborating with peers. The BCBA serves as both a supervisory and mentorship position, guiding behavior technicians and mid-tiers while ensuring high quality client services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Program Development & Oversight Regularly review and update behavior support plans and instructional materials to ensure effective implementation and monitor progress. Conduct direct assessments, including Vineland, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and ABLLS, to evaluate client progress. Approve and monitor all skill acquisition programming to ensure best practices in client care. Provide parent training using a combination of didactic and competency-based methods. Supervision & Staff Support Supervise Mid-Tiers in program development, re-assessments, data graphing, and report writing. Provide the mandated 5% supervision hours for all Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)-certified staff through in-person sessions and weekly one-on-one meetings. Assist in new hire training, RBT competency assessments, and ongoing professional development. Conduct weekly meetings with senior BCBAs for additional training and support. Data Collection & Compliance Ensure accurate data collection via manual or electronic methods(e.g., direct observation). Collect Interobserver Agreement (IOA) data and treatment fidelity data to maintain quality services. Submit all reports and documents in compliance with company and funding source guidelines. Maintain certification requirements independently and ensure timely renewals. Collaboration & Professional Development Participate in clinical team meetings, professional development sessions, and industry conferences. Attend off-site professional development sessions as required. Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated care for clients. Engage in special projects, including social skills groups, Safety Care training, and administrative duties. Maintain professional boundaries with clients and families while adhering to ethical guidelines. Administrative & Scheduling Responsibilities Independently manage scheduling and maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week. Ensure 100% utilization of authorized billable hoursfor all assigned clients. Convert all Central Reach sessions by the end of the day in which they occur. Ensure completion of all required Initial Competenciesfor new hires and role transitions. Communicate schedule needs and changes effectively and in a timely manner. Maintain certification in a timely mannerto prevent expired/inactive status.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Certification BCBA Certification (must be current and in good standing) Completion of BCBA coursework approved by the Behavior Analysis Regulatory Board(BARB®)/Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) At least one year of experience in ABA and priors upervisory experience. Skills & Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain professional relationships. Requirements Ability to sit on the floor and/or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. as needed.
