Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments and support client goals Follow ethical guidelines outlined by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure responsible practice Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of ABA therapy protocols, behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior plans effectively in various settings such as homes or schools Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards including HIPAA compliance Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is highly preferred Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in behavioral health practice Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts lives!
