Job Overview The Licensed Behavior Specialist provides behavioral assessment, consultation, planning, and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities receiving services through Community Links. The Behavior Specialist works collaboratively with individuals, families, DSPs, supervisors, Supports Coordinators, and other members of the individual's team to promote independence, skill development, safety, and meaningful participation in the community. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans Provide one-to-one behavioral support in community and home-based settings Assist individuals with developing and strengthening coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and adaptive functioning Monitor, collect, and document behavioral data and progress toward treatment objectives and goals Provide consultation and recommendations to individuals, families, DSPs, supervisors, and other members of the support team. Promote positive behavior support, individual choice, self-determination, and the least restrictive approaches appropriate to the individual's needs. Participate in ISP and team meetings and ensure behavioral supports are consistent with the individual's goals and needs. Document assessments, observations, consultations, recommendations, and services in accordance with Community Links and applicable ODP requirements. Maintain current Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist licensure and comply with applicable professional and ODP requirements.
Qualifications Required:
Current Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist license. Master's degree or higher meeting Pennsylvania licensure requirements. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, developmental disabilities, or related needs. Knowledge of functional behavior assessment and positive, evidence-based behavioral practices. Ability to develop and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Successful completion of required background checks and clearances in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania and ODP requirements.

Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
