Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) substitute in a dynamic school setting near Downingtown, PA. This per diem opportunity offers flexible, as-needed shifts, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to fit your life. You'll work one-on-one with students, supporting them in achieving behavioral and academic goals in a positive learning environment. Your expertise will help ensure students receive the focused attention they need to thrive. As an RBT, you'll collaborate with school staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, track progress, and provide reliable support during teacher absences.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Prior experience working in schools or with children/adolescents preferred Understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies and best practices Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and maintain detailed records Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Deliver consistent 1:1 behavioral support according to individualized behavior plans Implement ABA-based interventions and document student performance Foster a safe, encouraging environment that enhances student growth Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families as appropriate Remain flexible to cover substitute needs as requested (per diem) Uphold professional and organizational guidelines Imagine utilizing your RBT skills to positively shape the school day for students requiring extra support—all on a schedule that allows for work-life balance.
