9595056-19401 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students who benefit from your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role, based near Norristown, PA, allows you to make a lasting impact through collaboration and tailored behavioral support. In this position, you'll draw on your analytical and interpersonal skills to consult with teachers and program supervisors, guiding interventions for students facing behavioral challenges. Your commitment to evidence-based practices will shape classroom environments and individual student plans for greater success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active BCBA certification required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Familiarity with developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Strong knowledge of data collection techniques and analysis Comfortable leading professional development and training for school staff Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Observe students with behavioral needs and help staff collect meaningful baseline data Advise on effective data collection methods, ensuring accurate and consistent tracking Craft detailed, written descriptions of individualized behavior programs Guide classroom teams in designing and adapting behavior management strategies Support teachers in revising IEPs to reflect behavioral goals and modifications as needed Participate in IEP meetings, providing clarity and recommendations to families and staff Train and assist staff in passive restraint techniques, prioritizing safety and compliance Perform additional tasks as requested by the program administration to support student and staff needs Embrace an opportunity where your knowledge and compassionate approach will help shape positive experiences for both students and staff.
