Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living skills, social skills, and communication development
- Support clients in managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and progress
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay current on best practices and protocols
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing needs
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
