A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational setting near Kingston, PA. This onsite position runs for the full 2026-2027 school year (August through June) and offers the chance to make a significant impact by supporting students with behavioral needs in one school location. As a floating RBT, you will work 1:1 with students in elementary, middle, or high school environments, primarily supporting children on the autism spectrum as well as those requiring emotional support. Your expertise will be essential in providing positive behavior interventions and assisting students in achieving success in the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT certification required Ability to provide your own supervision Experience working with children or adolescents with autism and emotional support needs is highly preferred Flexibility to work across various school settings and grade levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions for students during the school day Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students with a variety of behavioral and emotional needs Track behavioral data and contribute to progress reports Collaborate with educational staff, families, and related service providers Adapt to changing student needs as a floating RBT within the school
