Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current BCBA certification required Demonstrated experience working within school or educational environments Proficiency in developing behavior intervention plans and data collection methods Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly with educators, administrators, and parents Ability to conduct and interpret behavioral assessments Experience supporting IEP development and revision Familiarity with passive restraint techniques preferred

Core Responsibilities:

Consult with teachers and program supervisors to observe students exhibiting behavioral challenges and assist with initial data collection Advise on selecting and implementing appropriate data collection strategies tailored to individual student needs Draft detailed written reports outlining behavior programs for specific students Guide the development of behavior management strategies for individual students and broader classroom environments Collaborate to update IEPs when behavioral interventions require program changes Participate in IEP meetings with parents, teachers, and supervisors to present and discuss behavior modification plans Train staff in passive restraint techniques and assist as necessary with their application Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned by program administrators This role offers a fulfilling chance to influence student growth by supporting positive behavioral change in school environments.
