Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate per diem Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral health challenges, particularly children and those with disabilities or autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct behavioral therapy to clients in various settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and oversee behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective patient care and support. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide training and support to staff members on behavioral health practices and techniques. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Advocate for clients' needs within the community and facilitate access to resources. Skills Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of medical records. Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, and those on the autism spectrum. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively. Expertise in applied behavior analysis methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Compassionate approach towards patient care, fostering a supportive environment for clients.
