What You'll Do:
Control Area (Cleanroom) Perform proper cleaning methods, such as emptying trash, wiping techniques of equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings and floors. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all cleaning equipment. Responsible for the preparation of cleaning/sanitation solutions and cleaning materials to specifications. Must possess the willingness to learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior at all times. Identifies and communicates any material or procedural discrepancies. Adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements defined in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Follows and executes client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Accurately documents solution prep and cleaning activities in logbooks according to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Non-Control Area General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Cleaning and stock restrooms. Ensure doors are locked after hours. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Keep cleaning supplies in stock. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs and ladders to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience cleaning in a cleanroom environment. Minimum 1 year experience handling and storing cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
What Sets You Apart:
Must be able to work standing, bending and reaching overhead for long periods of time. Must be able to work around various cleaning chemicals that produce non-hazardous odors. Must be able to wear appropriate gowning and PPE covering most all parts of the body and face. Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time Ability to lift, push, pull 25 lbs. routinely, often/occasionally. Ability to read, write and understand English Willingness to be cross trained to assist in other departments when needed.
Additional Information:
Entering into the cleanroom will require gowning such as scrubs, a hairnet, gloves and face mask to protect the cleanroom environment from human contaminates. Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE) will also be required to ensure our team members safety and protect the technician from slipping on wet surfaces, cleaning chemical splashes, inhalation and exposure.
