Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will lead behavioral interventions, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans that foster growth and independence. Your expertise will support children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions through evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both clinical and home-based settings, promoting positive behavioral health outcomes. Responsibilities Design, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs, emphasizing ABA principles and behavioral psychological assessments. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform treatment strategies. Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide direct patient care, including patient assessment, behavioral therapy sessions, and support during intake processes. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and ensure consistency across environments such as schools and homes. Offer clinical supervision to behavior technicians and staff, fostering professional development in applied behavior analysis techniques. Maintain detailed medical records, document treatment outcomes, and communicate effectively with clients regarding progress and next steps. Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders. Hands-on experience with data collection methods related to behavioral health interventions and functional assessments. Knowledge of special education settings, school-based programs, or home-based behavioral services is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, behavioral intervention strategies, and medical documentation standards is essential. Prior experience conducting behavioral psychological assessments such as FBA or functional assessment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience providing clinical supervision or training staff in applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques will be considered an asset.
