In this role, you will provide expert behavioral analysis, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and support families and caregivers through comprehensive training. Your expertise will help foster positive behavioral change using evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties Conduct detailed behavioral psychological assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform intervention strategies Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans aligned with client needs and goals Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Perform client assessments, including diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in ABA therapy Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate effective communication Support intake processes by conducting initial assessments and contributing to treatment planning for new clients Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality at all times Deliver training on behavior intervention techniques to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders in various settings such as homes or schools Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health, and behavioral therapy methodologies Experience conducting functional assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and functional analyses Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards within healthcare or educational environments Prior home-based behavioral experience is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform patient care tasks related to behavioral health interventions Experience working within special education settings or school environments is a plus Ability to provide clinical supervision while maintaining compliance with state licensing requirements Join us as a BCBA Specialist in New Jersey to empower children with developmental disabilities through innovative behavioral interventions.
