The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, particularly in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavior changes. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis. Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients. Stay current with developments in the field of ABA and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to navigate medical records effectively. Knowledge of special education practices and how they intersect with behavioral health services. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and data protection. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
