Seeking a BCBA living in the state of Connecticut
REMOTE OPTION AVAILABLE
for After School hours ONLY. Clinic is in-person with flexibile remote option only as needed. The position of BCBA includes supporting families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in accomplishing their goals and improving aspects of their lives. As a BCBA, you will take part in the assessment process for families that are assigned to you. Through the process, with the family's participation, you will create and develop objective and specific goals. The BCBA will write and develop the treatment plan, FBA, BIP and programs for their clients. The BCBA will be responsible for introducing each goal to the staff and family via modeling, role playing and reading through the program book. It is critical to then provide feedback to staff and parents as they try out these programs. As behavior concerns and concerns related to progress come up, it is the BCBA's responsibility to address the concerns and re-evaluate the current plan to ensure we are supporting the family as best we can. The BCBA should actively analyze the data and update programs. Following typically a six month time frame, the BCBA will provide a progress report which may include conducting additional assessments, updating current goals, as well as adding new goals. All treatment plans and behavior intervention plans should be submitted for review to your supervisor within two weeks prior to the authorization expiring.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field with ABA Certification Certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Connecticut State License for Behavior Analysts through the Department of Public Health

Responsibilities:
Provide trauma-informed Applied Behavior Analysis services home-based services, in-person or via telehealth Work as a team member, to provide support and collaboration for each child's programming. Provide supervision to staff delivering ABA services, and providing support for families through parent training. Provide assessments, programming and treatment plans for clients. Conduct Functional Analysis', as needed to determine functions of a behavior, followed by writing and reviewing the corresponding behavior plan with the family. Provide ABA services, in accordance with the treatment plan. Review and monitor data collection and graphs on a consistent and frequent basis. Submit reviews of the treatment plans on a timely basis. Monitor authorizations in accordance with the treatment plans. Provide supervision requirements for RBT certification for direct staff. Work with the client's school and outpatient teams to coordinate care. Present ABA related information during a staff meeting, as needed. Attend supervision with assigned supervisor on a consistent basis and as needed. Provide supervision for staff obtaining and maintaining RBT credential
