As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavioral intervention plans that support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies Design and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Collect and analyze data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of treatment delivery Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical teams to facilitate effective communication about client progress and treatment goals Perform intake evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client needs and developmental goals Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral health records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders Strong background in behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessments, and behavioral intervention strategies Hands-on experience with data collection methods used in ABA therapy settings, including home-based programs and school environments Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards required for clinical practice Experience conducting behavioral health evaluations within educational or clinical settings such as schools or clinics Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient care and medical documentation practices Prior experience providing supervision or training to behavior technicians or other staff members in clinical settings This role offers an exciting chance to leverage your expertise in applied behavior analysis while making a tangible impact on clients' lives.
