Duties Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to improve clients' behaviors and skills. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients. Provide patient care by offering guidance and support during therapy sessions. Engage in diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral challenges and develop effective interventions. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare team. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy. Familiarity with special education practices and resources.
