Position SummaryThe Lead BCBA will serve as the Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) and provide assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and clinical oversight for children receiving Research-Based Behavioral Health Treatment (RB-BHT) services. Beyond providing exceptional clinical care, this role offers the opportunity to influence the success of our ABA program through leadership, mentorship, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll DoClinical ServicesConduct behavioral assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Determine medical necessity for ABA servicesMonitor client progress using objective, data-driven decision makingAdjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomesProvide direct ABA services when clinically appropriateMaintain high standards of ethical and evidence-based practiceLeadership & Program DevelopmentAs a Lead BCBA, you will play a vital role by:

Creating treatment and supervision workflowsMentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)Supporting future program growthPromoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvementSupervisionSupervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with BACB standards and North Carolina Medicaid requirementsComplete competency assessments and performance evaluationsProvide ongoing coaching and clinical mentorshipEnsure quality service delivery across all casesFamily & Community CollaborationProvide parent training and caregiver educationCollaborate with physicians, schools, and community providersParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment planning alongside Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Developmental Therapy, and Mental Health professionalsBuild meaningful, trusting relationships with children and familiesDocumentation & ComplianceComplete evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and clinical documentation accurately and on timeParticipate in insurance authorization and reauthorization processesMaintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policies, and payer requirementsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and program evaluationQualificationsRequiredMaster's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related fieldCurrent Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificationCurrent North Carolina Behavior Analyst License or ability to obtain prior to employmentEligible to enroll and maintain active NC Medicaid provider statusMinimum one year of experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to ethical, compassionate, evidence-based carePreferredTwo or more years of BCBA experienceExperience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)Experience working with early intervention, preschool-aged, and school-aged childrenExperience with CentralReach or other electronic medical record systemsPrevious leadership, clinical supervision, or program development experienceWhy Join Our Team?
