Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and therapy. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, providing evidence-based interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your role will be vital in implementing individualized care plans, supporting skill development, and promoting positive behavior change. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your expertise in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other licensed professional. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Support clients during teaching sessions by utilizing behavioral therapy techniques to enhance communication, social skills, and independence. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and modify behavior management strategies tailored to each individual's needs. Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in educational or clinical settings. Excellent skills in teaching, behavior management, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' independence through patient care techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and dedication to improving the quality of life for individuals with autism or behavioral health needs. Join us in making a difference!
