EIDBI/ABA
services to children and young adults in Woodbury and Minneapolis, Minnesota . This position primarily involves providing behavioral treatment in clients' homes and approved community settings while working as part of a coordinated clinical treatment team. About Active Care Center Active Care Center provides individualized, person-centered Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services to children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related conditions. Our team helps clients build meaningful communication, social, adaptive, behavioral, safety, and daily living skills while promoting greater independence and participation in home and community environments. What You'll Do Level II providers work as part of a clinical treatment team under the direction of a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) and/or supervising clinician.
Responsibilities may include:
Provide individualized
EIDBI/ABA
intervention in clients' homes and community environments according to each client's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP). Implement behavior-analytic and developmental treatment protocols as written and clinically directed. Teach functional communication, social, play, adaptive, self-care, safety, emotional regulation, and other individualized skills. Implement behavior support and behavior intervention protocols designed to decrease interfering behavior while teaching appropriate replacement skills. Collect accurate treatment data and document client responses during sessions. Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines. Use reinforcement, prompting, shaping, modeling, natural environment teaching, task analysis, and other evidence-based teaching strategies as directed by the treatment plan. Promote generalization of skills across people, activities, and environments. Maintain client dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality. Communicate professionally with caregivers, supervising clinicians, and other treatment-team members. Participate in intervention observation and direction, training, team meetings, and clinical supervision. Follow Active Care Center policies, Minnesota EIDBI requirements, mandated reporting requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations. Travel to clients' homes and approved community locations throughout assigned service areas. Depending on qualifications, assigned responsibilities, and clinical direction, Level II providers may also participate in: Treatment planning Progress monitoring Caregiver training Clinical observation and direction Coordination of care Responsibilities will remain consistent with Minnesota EIDBI requirements and the provider's applicable scope of practice. Minimum Qualifications — Level II Applicants must qualify as a Minnesota EIDBI Level II Treatment Provider under applicable Minnesota EIDBI requirements. Applicants may qualify through several DHS-approved pathways, including: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral science, child development, psychology, mental health, special education, social work, speech pathology, occupational therapy, or a related field, plus qualifying ASD-related clinical experience/training, coursework, or certification; Qualifying bachelor's degree and current RBT, BCaBA, QASP-S, ABAT, or other DHS-recognized treatment-modality certification, as applicable; Associate degree in a qualifying behavioral or child development field plus at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering treatment to individuals with ASD or a related condition; At least 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering treatment to individuals with ASD or a related condition; Current enrollment as a graduate student in behavioral science, child development science, or a related field while receiving qualifying clinical supervision; Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in behavioral health, child development, or a related field while receiving the observation and direction required under Minnesota EIDBI regulations; or Another qualification pathway permitted under Minnesota EIDBI regulations. Be able to successfully complete the required Minnesota DHS NETStudy 2.0 background study and receive an eligible or set-aside determination before providing direct EIDBI services. Provide documentation necessary to verify education, degrees, certifications, and relevant clinical experience. Complete required EIDBI and Active Care Center orientation and training. Maintain required professional credentials and certifications when applicable. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements. Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct while independently providing treatment in clients' homes. Be able to reliably travel to assigned clients in Woodbury, Minneapolis, and surrounding approved service areas. Have reliable transportation and maintain any required driver's license and insurance documentation when driving is necessary for assigned duties. Be comfortable working directly with children and young adults who may display challenging behavior, including aggression, self-injury, elopement, property destruction, or other unsafe behavior. Be able to safely perform physical responsibilities necessary for individualized behavioral services in home and community environments, with reasonable accommodation when applicable. Preferred Qualifications We especially encourage applicants with: Previous ABA or EIDBI experience. Experience working with children or adolescents with autism or developmental disabilities. RBT, BCaBA, BCBA, QASP-S, ABAT, or related credentials. Experience providing in-home behavioral services. Experience implementing behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs. Experience collecting and documenting behavioral data. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children and families. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.
