Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is currently seeking to earn BCBA credential to join our dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will work directly with clients, implementing individualized behavior plans designed to promote skill development and improve quality of life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge of behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) in a supportive environment focused on growth, learning, and patient care. You will play a vital part in helping clients achieve their goals through compassionate, evidence-based interventions while collaborating closely with supervisors and families. We are seeking qualified candidates specifically for the Ft. Walton, Navarre, and Mary Esther areas. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on approved treatment protocols, ensuring consistency and fidelity in delivery. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support teaching strategies that promote communication, social skills, and independence for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with insurance requirements Foster a positive environment that encourages growth, patience, and understanding during therapy sessions Communicate effectively and within a timely manner with BCBAs regarding treatment plans and pertinent information. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Excellent data collection skills to track behavioral progress accurately Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
