Full Job Description Description:
The Group Facilitator functions as the lead for a specific group or set of social skills groups. Underneath the Group Coordinator and the Lead Group BCBA, they provide implement, train, and support all clients and staff who are attending their groups.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3:45-7:15 Tuesday 12-4:45
Job Description:
Leads ABA activities, classrooms, and groups at a particular clinic during ABA treatment hours. Prepares materials for group Creates visuals, directions, and trainings for clients and staff attending Social Groups Minimum bi-weekly meeting/communication with any other group leaders at this site (Weekly clinical meeting) Organizes, maintains, and creates clinic materials, activities, toy, and rooms Provides ongoing training and feedback to all center-based staff during groups Addresses clinical needs during group as directed Clinical Supervisor/BCBA Models and assists others in carrying these directives out Ensures BIP is followed by staff during group times Assists with behavior crises when needed Responsible for leading new and shadowing staff present in group Attending monthly clinic meetings, as directed by leadership Assisting in developing curriculum related materials, art projects, outings, and group activities according to evidence-based ABA information available, as directed by Clinical Supervisor and Social Group Coordinator Following curriculum presented by Clinical Supervisors and Social Group Coordinator Updating group documentation as needed Leading group throughout the day/evening Group activities/classroom Ensure schedule is followed Covering for staff as 1:1 Communicates issues/concerns with supervisors as soon as they arise Respond to emails during all work hours, when available, and prior to start of every day Assisting with intakes/screenings for new group clients as directed by Leadership Coordinate with FBS via Microsoft Teams Uses FBS email for FBS needs #fbs1
