Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting middle school students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position allows you to make a significant impact on students while collaborating with dedicated educators and staff. With a start date as soon as possible, you'll work full-time, providing consistent, valued support throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT certification is required. At least one year of professional experience delivering behavioral support, preferably within middle or high school environments. Candidates with a completed National Background Check (BCI) are highly preferred for immediate consideration.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated success in whole-class support settings. Experience managing and de-escalating challenging behaviors, including elopement, wandering, and aggression.
Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral support services to middle school classrooms. Collaborate closely with school staff and teachers to create positive learning environments. Implement individualized behavioral interventions and reinforcement strategies. Monitor, document, and report student progress towards behavioral goals. Foster safe and constructive classroom dynamics that support the well-being of all students.
