9601206-02886 Job Description Embark on an engaging opportunity supporting elementary students as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a vibrant school community near Warwick, RI. This full-time contract position allows you to make a meaningful difference each day, working closely with young learners and collaborating with a passionate team of educators. In this role, you'll focus on elementary caseloads, providing individualized or classroom aide support for students with a range of behavioral and learning needs. You'll put your expertise and active RBT license to use in a dynamic and inclusive setting, helping each child achieve their personal and academic goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required Previous experience in educational settings, especially working with elementary-aged children, is strongly preferred Ability to manage and document student progress accurately and efficiently Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Adaptability to work in both 1:1 and classroom aide capacities
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in achieving behavioral and academic objectives through evidence-based ABA strategies Implement treatment and intervention plans designed by BCBA and special education staff Assist with data collection and progress monitoring Work both individually with students and as part of classroom support teams Foster a safe, positive, and productive environment for learning This position offers a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, giving you the balance to dedicate your expertise while enjoying evenings and weekends free.
