Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current BCBA certification is required Demonstrated experience working with individuals ages K-22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities Familiarity with Safety-Care or similar behavioral crisis intervention methodologies Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Intervention Plans Excellent interpersonal, training, and collaborative problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams (teachers, therapists, families)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behavior assessments and design evidence-based behavior intervention plans for individual students Mentor and train classroom staff, including teachers and assistants, on the proper application of individualized behavior plans Respond to behavioral crises by implementing Safety-Care procedures, using de-escalation and least restrictive interventions Engage in ongoing collaboration with teachers, related services providers, and families to ensure coordinated, student-centered programming Monitor, analyze, and report on data to inform instructional and behavioral decisions Participate in and help facilitate professional development opportunities, including cross-disciplinary learning You'll have the opportunity to work alongside talented educators, grow professionally, and create lasting impact on students' lives.
