Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A unique opportunity awaits an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make an immediate impact during the 2026-2027 school year, with potential opportunities to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY) as well. This full-time contract position is located within a welcoming school environment near Cordova, SC, and offers the chance to work closely with students, supporting them in developing coping mechanisms and mastering de-escalation strategies.
Key Qualifications & Background:
Current certification as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong background in hands-on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy Demonstrated skill conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and designing, implementing, and monitoring Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Ability to provide compassionate, direct services to students, focusing on emotional regulation, social skills, and daily functioning Willingness and comfort in potentially providing in-home services, though not mandatory Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver ABA-based therapy and interventions to students, promoting positive academic and behavioral outcomes Develop and update individualized BIPs tailored to each student's unique needs Conduct comprehensive FBAs to guide intervention strategies Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to foster a supportive educational atmosphere Provide training and support to school personnel and parents on ABA principles and effective approaches Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, goals, and interventions Experience the rewards of guiding students as they thrive, while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team in a dynamic educational setting.
