Partnering with a cooperative district, you'll lead efforts alongside a team of paras, RBTs, and aides—focusing on function-based interventions, in-the-moment crisis planning, and guiding educators on best practices. The role is based in a unique retail-style setting and offers possible renewal or permanent placement at the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required Experience with older students and those exhibiting high-intensity behaviors Skilled in training, supporting, and supervising paras, RBTs, and teaching staff Expertise in functional behavior assessment and intervention planning Strong crisis management and de-escalation abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver function-based behavior interventions for 6th-12th grade students Support and provide leadership to RBTs, paras, and education staff Collaborate with partner districts to create a continuum of student support Train educators and ensure optimal behavior support strategies are in place Foster a culture of teamwork and ongoing learning among staff
