Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing support in daily activities and promoting positive behavioral changes. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Teach social skills and coping strategies to clients in various settings. Provide patient care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records, care plans, and behavioral health assessments. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the overall development of clients. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavior management and therapeutic techniques. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with autism is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with people with autism. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral health. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed documentation of client progress. Behavior Technician training is provided! Must be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
